ITI Poster Competition

Be a part of the event by submitting an abstract for the poster competition! Having a poster at the event is an ideal way of making a broader public aware of the work you are doing.


Poster Submission

  1. 1.Title of the study – To be limited to a maximum of 300 characters and should reflect the content of the abstract in a concise manner.
  2. Applicant Information
    • Please note that the applicant named in this section is the person presenting the poster in the poster exhibition.
    • Please do not use academic titles.
    • The names of the authors cannot be changed after submission of the abstract.
  3. Objectives - Max. 500 characters, including blanks.
  4. Methods - Max. 1500 characters, including blanks.
  5. Results - Max. 1500 characters, including blanks.
  6. Conclusions - Max. 1000 characters, including blanks.

Please carefully proofread the abstract for any grammatical or spelling mistakes and check for consistent use of terminology.

Policy for abstract submission/acceptance:

  1. Abstracts must be submitted online by 31st August 2019.
  2. Abstract submissions will be accepted or rejected by 15th September 2019.
  3. The applicants will be notified via e-mail.
  4. There is no limit to the number of abstracts an investigator may submit.

The lead presenter must register and remit the registration fee for the Congress by 1 st September 2019 to be included in the programme. All submitters of accepted abstracts are expected to register for and attend the ITI India Congress 2019.

Any human experimentation must conform to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki of the World Medical Association. Any animal experimentation must be reviewed and accepted by the responsible local authorities to assure compliance with ethical guidelines.

E-Poster Guidelines

  1. The file should be in PNG, JPEG format (preferably).
  2. The file should be more than 7 MB and less than 15 MB in size (If submitting two images the combine size of two images should be less than 15 MB).
  3. The file should be in landscape format (preferably).
  4. LCD screen in horizontal format will be provided for display of E posters
  5. Media : Pictures, graphs and tables can be included in the e-Poster.
  6. Multimedia : Videos and music cannot be included in the e-Poster.
  7. The official language of the meeting and all communication must be in English.
  8. No commercial products endorsement will be permitted.
  9. Authors and co authors shall be present at the time of poster presentation /judging.
  10. Certificates will be given only to the authors /co authors who are present during the presentation /judging.
  11. The presenter should adhere to the time limit for presentation.
  12. All oral presentations regarding the poster shall be for a maximum duration of 2 minutes.
  13. All E-Posters should be prepared in English.

Poster presentation and exhibition

  1. All selected poster presenters will be required to make a 2 minutes presentation of their poster. The posters will be reviewed by one of the Master Clinicians invited to lecture at the Congress.
  2. Evaluation criteria are: originality of the hypothesis/ clinical treatment, study design, methodology, scientific and clinical relevance.


On 6 th October 2019, the best presentations in each of the categories basic research, clinical research, case report (Surgery) and case report (Prosthetics) will be awarded the ITI India Congress 2019 Poster award.

4. 1st round presentation at ITI for selecting the finalists

5. Grand Finale round on the 2nd day of ITI 2019
